From the Heguru Handbook.
In order to harness the potential brain ability of your child, it is important to develop the right brain (subconscious brain) and then to enlarge the brain capacity. The right brain controls image, inspiration, senses, etc. It has the ability to process massive information at high speed and remember them.
Most schools and tuition centers are focussed only on training the left brain. The left brain controls logic, sequence, numbers, language, analysis, etc. It processes information at a slower speed and then remembers them. Most adults and children are very well trained in using their left brains. Many can read, write and calculate but only a few have unique concepts or innovative ideas.
What our world needs today are more talented individuals with unique concepts and innovative ideas. These individuals are aware and able to harness the powers of their right brain to help create a better world.
What are the abilities an individual can develop when one strives to harness the power of the right brain? Two examples were given:
- A primary 6 student who attended HEGL (the Heguru school in Japan) is able to effortlessly remember a total of 7 text books provided by a famous tuition center in 2 days.
- Another student is able to remember the pi ratio up to 500 decimal places in 30 minutes.
These students have these abilities because they are taught to memorise the pages of a text book or numbers as images. This is similar to taking a photograph of an image and storing it in their brain. These are the memory patterns of children whose righ brain has been developed.
There are two important points to remember when developing the right brain:
- Start as early as possible. The earlier we start to develop the right brain, the better it is. The right brain becomes increasingly difficult to be developed year after year as one grows older.
- For students to meet and study together with other children whose right brain are already developed. A talent development conditional site is needed for this purpose. This is konwn as the Theory of Formation Center of Excellence.
With appropriate guidance and the availability of a suitable location, it is definitely more effective to teach image training and high speed learning to young children aged between 0 to 10.
There is one other facor that plays an important role in order to effectively develop the right brain. Parents play an important role. They must believe beyond doubt that their children’s right brain can be fully developed because the belief of the parents and teachers in the ability of the child will greatly influence the end result. If a child often hears statements such as, “Your child is smart but I don’t think ours is…” etc., there is a very high possibility that the child will respond with corresponding results as per his parents’ expectations.
Humans do not use the full capacity of our brains. Rarely do we reach our maximum capacity. The right brain of every individual can be further developed if given the proper training. Realise that the unlimited potential of your child lies dormant and these powers can be awakened and harnessed.
