Music Apps and Programs: Learn Guitar with eMedia

Ever since our experience with the Piano Maestro app, I’ve been looking for similar apps that help teach other instruments so we can learn to play these instruments “on the go”, in our own time. eMedia – you may already be familiar with their children’s programs for piano, violin and guitar – has an app for learning guitar!

App: eMedia Guitar Method

Containing over 120 step-by-step lessons, the eMedia Guitar Method app cover basics like:

  • playing simple chords

eMedia’s step-by-step approach is the easiest way to learn guitar – even if you have no previous guitar experience. After learning the technique, practice it slowly with exercises and finally with a song that includes the new technique. There is also a modern rock chapter teaches that teaches various strumming styles, movable power chords, and power chord riffs.
