I’ve been trying to teach Gavin to think positively because it really annoys me whenever he claims he “can’t” do something. Well, it’s good to know that some of it is sinking in – sort of.
Hubby told me the following story…
One morning hubby woke up to Gavin’s bright chirpy voice asking him to help with something.
Hubby replied, “I can’t Gavin, I’m sleeping.”
Then Gavin said, “You can do it, Daddy. You can do it because you’re big and strong and fat.”

yes – it’s hilarious how kids interpret what we teach them and tell it to others! my son will ‘discipline’ his sister whenever she does something that she’s not supposed to do in the same manner we teach him e.g. No doing this or that etc

This is what I love about the toddler years. There are so many humorous instances… I’m trying to remember them all but by the time I get to the computer, my Mummy brain has forgotten!
